Mazda Australia today confirmed that CX-5 models powered by the new 2.2 litre SKYACTIV-D clean diesel engine will deliver class-leading combined cycle fuel economy of just 5.7 litres per 100km.

As the first Mazda to feature the full range of the company’s new SKYACTIV Technology, the CX-5 not only delivers fuel efficiency like never before but also incredible driving dynamics.



Mazda Motor Corporation’s facelifted Demio compact car (known overseas as the Mazda2) with the SKYACTIV-G 1.3 gasoline engine, together with its development team, has received the 2011-2012 Car Technology of the Year award from the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame (JAHFA). The Mazda Demio 13-SKYACTIV was launched in Japan in June 2011. The result was announced today by JAHFA, a registered nonprofit organization based in Tokyo.

 



Mazda Australia has today announced that the All-New BT-50 will be available at launch with a wide range of locally-built genuine Mazda accessories including an airbag compatible bull bar.

Mazda engineers have spent many months working hard to build a genuine Mazda bull bar that meets stringent ADR requirements, looks good and is tough enough to handle anything BT-50 owners throw at it.

Mazda Motor Corporation will hold the world premiere of the all-new Mazda CX-5 compact crossover SUV at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show (September 13 through 25, 2011). The CX-5 is the first of a new generation of Mazda products that will adopt the full range of Mazda’s breakthrough SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY and new design theme, ‘KODO - Soul of Motion’.
